Jackson Fooks Scores Showdown Series Victory at Shenandoah Speedway
Jackson Fooks added another victory to his impressive 2026 season on August 21, taking the No. 77 INEX Legend Car to victory in Showdown Series competition at Shenandoah Speedway.
The 13-year-old started the night at the front of the field, qualifying P1 among 15 cars before converting the pole position into a first-place finish.
Pole Position to Victory
Jackson entered the event continuing a strong stretch of performances during his 2026 Legend Car campaign. After putting the No. 77 on the pole, he finished the night exactly where he started — P1 — adding another Shenandoah Speedway victory to his season.
The win continues a successful year that has seen Jackson compete at tracks throughout the East Coast in local, regional and national-level events. His 2026 campaign has included multiple victories and podium finishes at tracks including Shenandoah Speedway and Langley Speedway, along with competition in the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway and other major Legend Car events.
Jackson continues his development working with Joe Ryan Racecars of Charlotte, North Carolina, and CMG Motorsports of Henrico, Virginia, with both teams playing an important role in his continued progression behind the wheel of a Legend Car.
The 2026 Season Continues
The Shenandoah victory adds another milestone to what has already been a busy and successful season for Jackson and the Fooks Racing team.
With more racing still ahead, Jackson will look to continue building on the momentum of his Showdown Series victory as the No. 77 returns to the track.
